Lack of Permanent School Buildings
Students currently learn in temporary and makeshift structures that provide limited protection from harsh weather conditions. Heavy rains often interrupt lessons, while extreme heat creates uncomfortable and unsafe learning environments.

The lack of permanent classrooms affects children’s learning experience and can discourage families from enrolling their children. Building safe, permanent classrooms will create a stable environment where students can learn with confidence and dignity.

Limited Teaching Staff
The school currently does not have enough qualified teachers to effectively support its growing number of students. Existing teachers manage multiple classes and age groups, making it difficult to provide personalised attention and maintain high-quality learning outcomes.

Recruiting and retaining qualified teachers will strengthen academic performance and allow more children to access quality education.

Food Insecurity Among Students
Many students arrive at school without having eaten at home. For some children, their next meal may not come until they return home in the evening.

Hunger affects concentration, attendance, and children’s ability to benefit from education. Establishing a reliable school feeding programme will ensure students have the energy needed to learn and participate fully.

Low Enrolment Due to Financial Challenges
Many families in the surrounding communities want their children to attend school, but financial limitations and concerns about school conditions affect enrolment decisions.

Improving school infrastructure, increasing staffing, and introducing feeding support will help GreenHill become a trusted and accessible education centre for more children.
